Ask AI about your files?

To answer, PlainHub searches your files and sends your question and the matching lines (excerpts, including from private repositories) to the AI that answers: Anthropic with your API key, or Your agent (Claude Code on your computer, which sends them to Anthropic). They don't go through PlainHub's servers.

From the matching lines PlainHub sends, files that look like secrets (such as .env or key files) are left out, and lines with keys or tokens in well-known formats are masked. Your agent may also open whole files to answer, as when you ask it in the AI panel. With an API key, each question uses tokens on your Anthropic account and the answer shows how many; Your agent uses your Claude plan.
